It's a hard life, being two on a little farm. You're expected to be your Dad's apprentice.
You're expected to give the lambs their bottles.
You better not forget their grain, either.
Then, there's two hungry dogs waiting their turn.
Finally, your Mum puts you on dish duty.
No wonder she sleeps well at night.
Nice one!
ReplyDeletethat little house kitchen is looking like you are all settled in and loving it :-)
ReplyDeleteVery much so!
DeleteTrust me, these will be her life's cherished memories. I certainly remember mine. Especially having to milk a cow before breakfast with Mum. I used to cuddle up to Daisy's flanks to keep warm in winter.
ReplyDeleteAnd she is having the time of her life...........it's so good for kids and what a wonderful life style you have chosen for her. Even though we live in Brisbane suburbia we have two chickens with fresh eggs so we have a little bit of farm life here (ha ha)...in a micro macro type of way. It totally makes kids aware of where food comes from and they are more connected. Such cute photos. You will have to start thinking about a book for your first year on the farm including before and after rooms, yard (like a recent post) because all too soon you will forget and also it helps to see that you have done stuff that might not look significant as you seen them everyday but when you look back on photos of the yard when you moved in you can see you have definately been working. ReplyDeleteLooks like she is loving the responsibly without even knowing it, while having fun at the same time. Gorgeous little poppet xx
ReplyDeleteHow lucky is that girl to have her own pet lambs! Your little kitchen looks very very loved and cosy, must have significantly improved your mood to be spending half your day in there as opposed to the alternative. mel x
ReplyDeletesweet :-) what a life she is leading! and i must say she has rather cute work uniforms.
ReplyDeletei love that your 'keep calm' poster is slightly wonky :-)
I bet she love her chores! Jarvis loves feeding our cat and gardening, so he would love staying on a farm, chores and all.
ReplyDeleteHi, yes I imagine there is a lot to do on a farm but I guarantee she sleeps well. xx
